TARA ALEXANDER

As a singer, songwriter and producer, Tara Alexander’s discography & career highlights include a diverse group of artists, performances, and festivals. She has headlined at Le Meridien in Paris, USADBA Festival in Moscow courtesy of the US Embassy, as well as Switzerland, Brazil & Mackinac Island Jazz Fest.... For more than 30 years, Tara and her husband, drummer, Jeffery Alexander (of Papa Grows Funk) have worked together in music. Through their company, The Frontline Corporation, the couple has performed extensively, established a regional audio engineering program which serves as a workforce development hub for youth in Louisiana and Georgia as well as built a company which focuses on family centered music productions. Tara's company was hired to work on three of Harry Connick’s releases including Stars Still Shine, a tribute to essential workers, which aired on CBS in 2020.
